Sue Unger Elected OSUSBC President At Annual Jamboree
North Bend, OR – The Oregon State USBC (OSUSBC) has announced the election of Sue Unger as its new President, following a vote held during the organization’s Annual Meeting at the Ko-Kwel Resort Casino in North Bend. Unger was elected by acclamation and will officially begin her term on August 1, 2025.
Unger becomes the first woman to serve as President of the Oregon State USBC.
Outgoing President Bryan Roberts, who completed a four-year term, stated:
“Sue has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside the last 4 years as my Vice President. I don’t know what I would have done without her knowledge in the financial realm. I believe she is uniquely qualified with the respect of all of our Board, and therefore moves us into a grand future. I wish her and the State Board all the best.”
In her remarks to the OSUSBC membership, Unger said:
“We have an amazing board that supports each other and steps up when needed and I have my successor to thank for that. He has been a wonderful mentor and has helped guide and prepare me for the coming years. So being able to be reinstated as a 501(c)(3) before his term ended made for the best ending for all he endured during his time as President. With all the changes the board has faced over the years, we are committed to making your experiences better. This is Oregon State USBC’s 20th Anniversary and will be the best yet. I am honored to serve as your State President and look forward to an amazing year.”
Unger’s term begins during a milestone year for the organization, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
